About a month after the end of all championships, cups and rallies around the world entered in the FIA calendar, the IRDA (International Rally Drivers Association) announces that, taking into account all the rally car models produced by various manufacturers in the world, according to the number of rallies done by all the models of each manufacturer and the number of cars classified in the top thirty positions of each rally in the world entered in the FIA calendar, the No. 1 rally car manufacturer of 2011, according to the results/standings is Mitsubishi which, entering twelve models in the competitions of the 5 continents, beats Ford which used eleven models, third place goes to Peugeot which also used a total of eleven models of cars. The RALLY CAR MANUFACTURERS WORLD RANKING comprises 23 manufacturers for a total of 132 car models
