BRC Pirelli Richard Burns Foundation Rally 2013

KORHONEN CRUISES THROUGH KERSHOPE TO TAKE PIRELLI FIRST PLACE

Finnish stars Jukka Korhonen/ Mikka Salminen guided their Citroen DS3 through the four stages in Kershope Forest which comprised day two of the Pirelli Richard Burns Foundation Rally, protecting their overnight lead to win the opening round of the 2013 MSA British Rally Championship. Korhonen held off a spirited charge from Alistair Fisher/ Gordon Noble, who were quickest on three of the days stages, overhauling Tom Cave/ Ieuan Thomas to move into second place. The other big movers of the day were John McCrone/ Phil Pugh, fastest on the final stage, they moved up from 13th place overnight to finish fifth.
